Jim Carrey, the man behind countless laugh-out-loud characters, has a talented daughter following in his footsteps (with a microphone instead of a rubber mask). Jane Carrey, born in 1987, is the comedian’s child with his first wife, Melissa Womer. Though Jim is known for his outlandish expressions, Jane takes after her mom’s more subtle features.
In 2008, she tried out for “American Idol,” proving she inherited some of her dad’s star power. Though she didn’t win, she went on to form her own band, even singing with her dad in a few projects. Now a mom of three herself, she keeps things creative—she even co-hosted MTV’s Catfish for a while!
