Lolo Jones – Track and field
Lolo Jones rose to fame in high school, setting state records and capturing national attention. Lolo’s career truly took off when she won back-to-back World Indoor Championships in the 60-meter hurdles in 2008 and 2010. Despite narrowly missing medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, her resilience and determination have made her a fan favorite.
Track and field, a sport with origins in ancient Greece, showcases the purest forms of athleticism, from running to jumping and throwing. Lolo’s versatility extends beyond the track. She also competed in bobsledding, earning a gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2013 World Championships.
