Would You Drive These Disasters? The 45 Worst Cars of All Time

Lincoln Blackwood Failed at Trucking

The Lincoln “Blackwood” was the answer to a question nobody asked: What if a pickup truck was terrible at being a truck? In 2002, Lincoln tried to make a luxury pickup for people who wanted a workhorse but hated the idea of actually using one.

The cargo bed was lined with carpet, covered in brushed aluminum, and sealed shut, so forget hauling anything that wasn’t a set of designer luggage. At $52,500, it cost way more than a fully loaded Ford F-150, and unsurprisingly, nobody wanted it. Sales barely hit 3,356 units, and Lincoln yanked it off the market in under a year.
