Would You Drive These Disasters? The 45 Worst Cars of All Time

Aston Martin Lagonda Was a High-Tech Headache

The Aston Martin “Lagonda” looked like something a 10-year-old would sketch after watching a sci-fi movie. With its wedge-shaped body and space-age interior, Aston Martin wanted to create the car of the future. Instead, they built one of the most unreliable cars ever made.

The “Lagonda” featured touch-sensitive buttons and a digital dashboard, which was cool when it worked—which was almost never. Owners spent more time at the mechanic than behind the wheel, as the car’s electronics failed constantly. Despite its $150K price tag, it offered the driving experience of a boat with a broken rudder. Even Time magazine called it one of the worst cars ever made.
