Hollywood’s Vintage Stars: Their Ages Will Leave You Stunned!
Helen Shapiro – Born in 1946
Helen Shapiro is best known for her chart-topping hits “You Don’t Know” and “Walkin’ Back to Happiness.” As a child prodigy, she drew the attention of Columbia Records and signed a recording contract at the age of 14. Along with her singing success, she appeared on film and television in the swinging 1960s.
Her acting career took off in 1961 when she debuted in the film “Stay Sharp, Young Man.” Despite her declining popularity in the 1960s, she gracefully announced her retirement from music in the early 1970s. On the other hand, Helen triumphantly returned in the 1980s and has since delighted audiences with occasional performances and recordings.
