Kim Cattrall wasn’t afraid to take flight. Born in England but raised in Canada, she honed her acting skills on stage before landing her film debut in 1975. Throughout the 1980s, she built a resume of impressive roles, including a stint as Lieutenant Valeris in “Star Trek VI.” Playing the fabulous Samantha Jones on “S** and the City,” she brought fierce independence and sharp wit to the role for six seasons and two films.
The character earned Kim a Golden Globe and multiple SAG awards. Since then, she hasn’t slowed down. She’s starred in diverse projects like the dark comedy “Sensitive Skin” and the Netflix series “Glamorous.”
